"Living is like tearing through a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book, and remembering - because you can't take it in all at once."

sunday on columbia road

i do hate a lonely weekend. It seems everyone is surrounded by family, friends and food and when your on your own you can feel like time has slowed down. But fill your sunday with the east end markets and time will pass sure enough. From the colours and smells of brick lane, the hustle of Spitalfields, the array of designer shops and the pretty charm of columbia road. Sunday is the famous flower market. THey've all been up since 7 but come about 3pm and you'll get a bargain as the vendors go home for sunday supper.

Whether you want roses, or pepper plants, you'll find it here. It makes me really wish i had a little green patch or at least a window box. i came at the end of the day so most had gone home and i mostly go for the atmosphere, but i did treat myself to a bunch of sunny Chrysanth's.
